Rare set of 6 chairs "Schnurstuhl" designed in 1950 by Robert Haussmann. Black lacquered wooden frame with hemp rope backrest. The production, at first was made by the woodworking of Peter Oswald, later by the Thut Möbel company, until about 1965. With its table, the set was presented in the Teo Jakob store in Bern with a set of furniture by Kurt Thut, all very Japanese style (see archive image) and in the Haussmann & Haussmann stores. Completely original with traces of use. Sold in set.
